Professional Fighters League
The Professional Fighters League is co-founded by Donn Davis, Russ Ramsey, and Mark Leschly and backed by business titans in sports, media, and technology and will debut in January 2018. The Professional Fighters League purchased the fighting operations and event infrastructure of the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) in January 2017, and has over 100 professional MMA fighters under contract.
Russ Ramsey – Co-Founder and Executive Chairman
Russ Ramsey is a Co-Founder and the Executive Chairman of the Professional Fighters League. He is a successful entrepreneur, financier, businessman, educational and community leader and philanthropist in the Washington, DC area. He is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Ramsey Asset Management and Chairman of the Greater Washington Partnership, a CEO-led civic organization dedicated to improving the lives of citizens throughout the region.
Russ is a member of the George Washington University’s Baseball Hall-of-Fame, former Chairman of Washington, DC’s bid for the 2024 Olympic Games, and co-founder of Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group (FBR) in 1989.
Carlos Silva – President of Event Production and Business Operations
Carlos Silva is the President of Event Production and Business Operations for the Professional Fighters League. He is a veteran media executive and proven digital leader with a record of building innovative companies at the convergence of television and online.
Previously, Carlos was President of Universal Sports Network where he produced numerous successful programs and major sports events.
Ray Sefo – President of Fighting Operations
Ray Sefo is the President of Fighting Operations at the Professional Fighters League. He has spent his entire life training, competing, and working in martial arts, including professional bouts in boxing, kickboxing, judo, and mixed martial arts.
Ray has won six world fighting titles in six different weight classes and is a 3-time combat sports Hall of Famer.
