Feb 13, 2016
In what is being billed as “the most unique match since Rocky,” the former light heavyweight champion of the world Roy Jones Jr. is going to step in the ring with a lucky fan how could win $100,000.
The fight is part of a crazy quadruple main event which includes Ken Shamrock vs. Dan Severn in an MMA match, a pro-wrestling match with Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio and Chael Sonnen vs. Michael Bisping in a grappling-only match that takes place March 20, 2016 in Phoenix, AZ.
According to the website, fans should submit a video explaining why they should be chosen to step into the ring with the 47-year-old former champ and HBO boxing analyst in what they are billing as “the most unique match since Rocky.”
“One lucky punch could land you a knockout victory, fame, accolades, acclaim – not to mention a HUGE cash prize if you can Beat the Champ!”
The event is less than a month away and is going to be streamed online from the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, AZ. Tickets are supposed to go on sale soon, so hold tight!
Until then, why not try and win $10,000,000 in the promotion’s “Hole in One Challenge” the week before, with none other than “Shooter” McGavin from “Happy Gilmore,” … because, why not?
